About the Role

We are looking for an associate-level software engineer who will primarily contribute to our automation efforts in delivery routing, order clustering/grouping, and automated driver assignment, with secondary responsibilities in maintaining and expanding our full-stack information systems.

You will be working in a small but fast-moving engineering team, using the latest open-source libraries and web services, and following industry best practices to expand our next-generation software capabilities.

You will be learning about our technology stack and quickly become well-versed in writing sophisticated software.

What You’ll Need

  • Excellent command of general and search algorithms, data structure, problem formalization, and data modeling.

  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL).

  • Experience working with the web (HTML, CSS, and Javascript) and basic understanding of communication between web services.

  • Familiarity with OO languages. Knowledge of Ruby, Python, or Javascript would be a plus.

  • Familiarity with Git and the command line interface.

  • You understand and are willing to fulfill your responsibilities as a SDE to protect the information of your users and provide them with a reliable service that meets their expectation and improves their quality of life.

  • You can articulate your opinion with confidence and clarity even in front of audience with more seniority and experience.

  • You are dedicated, open-minded, open to criticism, and willing to try and learn different approaches.
